Loudon, NH(September 16, 2006) – A.J. Allmendinger tested the NASCAR waters today driving a Toyota Tundra for Bill Davis Racing. Allmendinger crashed on the second lap of qualifying forcing him to take a back up car and start at the back of the field. A.J. worked his way through the field having good battles with NASCAR regulars.  Allmendinger finished 13th on the day and had a great time.

"I’m going to just try and run a clean, smart race and finish.  This is going to be a great learning experience for me, and I want to try and take as much from it as I can," said Allmendinger. “I’ve got the right equipment to do it, with the Toyota Tundra and the Bill Davis Racing team, so I want to hold up my end of the program as best I can.”  It seems that he did.
